   We are proud to present media-convert.com, the first on-line multi-format file conversion center. Our service is 100% free and anonymous. No software installation is required, thus preventing users from spyware and virus infections.

   Navigating the file format jungle is not always easy. Thanks to Media-Convert, interoperability between systems and software is easier. You can use our services from anywhere : at the office, in a cyber café, from a friend's computer or from a secured computer disallowing software installations.

   Our website supports more than 200 file formats (documents, music, image, ringtones, compressed archives) and many combinations are possible.

   Media-Convert offers a broad range of services for the private individuals but also for professionals, as for example a Open Office document which one wishes to open with Microsoft Office or an Access database to be exported easily in an Excel table.

   No need to search and install adequate software to read or print the document of a colleague (our service convert the file in formats like PDF, PostScript, RTF), or to capture and convert a website as image.

   For sound files, Media-Convert offers in addition to the conversion a service to cut out an extract (with pre-listening on the website), very practical for the many visitors who create their custom ringtones starting from a sound file or a music recording.

   The website is also a file uploader for mobile phone (WAP or GPRS), which makes it easy to upload files from a computer to a mobile phone, without using any special cable.

   It should be noted that Media-Convert prevents the conversion of DRM protected sound files.

   The website user interface is very simple, multilingual and convivial. There is also a message board for the visitors, so that they can exchange their experiments, tricks and communicate with the development team.

   Note: a visitor wrote this on our message board "Nothing is more pleasant than to be able to carry out any operation of conversion of any type of file (Text, Audio, image, video?? ,…) directly without having to download 50 software dedicated to a precise task but simply by using such a general-purpose and effective server.
